Volunteers Needed – Huntsman World Senior Games

Volunteer and Make a Difference
Volunteers are the life-blood of the Huntsman World Senior Games. For the past thirty-two years they have been an integral part of the athlete experience.
“Each October a volunteer workforce of 2,500+ men and women is needed to accomplish the lofty goal of providing a memorable experience for over 11,000 participants who come to compete,” said Jeff Harding, Huntsman World Senior Games director of operations. “The athletes are quick to express their appreciation to volunteers and many long-lasting friendships have been forged throughout the years.”
Volunteer assignments range from delivering fruit to greeting athletes as they arrive to check in. We need volunteers to work in the gift shop, transport athletes to and from their competition venues, answer questions at the information desk, usher the opening ceremonies, and provide medical support at venues. We also need people to check athletes in at sporting venues, assemble athlete welcome bags, run each sport’s social and much, much more.
If you would like to be part of the largest annual multi-sport event in the world for people 50 and over, then go to www.seniorgames.net/volunteer and sign-up.
Send an email to volunteer@seniorgames.net or call the Games’ office at 435-674-0550 with any questions.
