The purpose of the 4th of July festivities and parade is to celebrate events and people past and present that have contributed to or are the result of the freedoms afforded us in the United States of America.
The Hurricane City Recreation Department, under the direction of Bryce King and Debbie Garrett and their amazing staff, organize the annual event and invite you to celebrate in Hurricane, Utah.
Schedule of Events:
8 am – 11 am : $2.00 Pancake Breakfast at the Community Center – 63 South 100 West, Hurricane
8:30 am: Parade begins
9:15 am: Patriotic Ceremony – Community Center Flag Pole
9:30 am – 11:30 am: Grand Opening of the Pumptrack, Relay Races with cash prizes, Water Slides, Corn Hole, Pickleball
12:00 pm – 7:00 pm: FREE Swim at the Hurricane City Pool – 750 North 200 West, Hurricane
10:00 pm: Fireworks – Spilsbury Sports Complex – 700 North 200 West, Hurricane
The 4th of July Parade travels North from 300 South Main turning left on 100 South, travels West turning left on 300 West, and travels South turning left on 300 South ending at 200 West.
