Congratulations to Dig Paddlesports on being awarded the HVCC October Business of the Month.
Dig Paddlesports is the exclusive provider of watersports equipment at Hurricane’s Quail Creek State Park with another location at Gunlock State Park.
Owner, Bill Ennis and Operations Manager, Michelle Ennis established their business in 2011, with the desire and intent of encouraging water sports and recreational activities amongst the red rock landscapes of Southern Utah. They offer rentals, lessons (including Paddle Board Yoga), sales and repairs for stand-up paddle boards, kayaks and other water sports equipment and are able to accommodate family reunions, corporate events, and other large groups.
Along with the demands of their growing business, Bill and Michelle support a number of non-profit organizations and are actively engaged in organizing and assisting with community events.
Some of the nominating statements included: “They are always looking for unique ways to keep our community active” and “This homegrown business has enhanced the quality of life in the community as well as being a great corporate citizen. Hat’s off to Bill and Michelle Ennis for their focus on water sports in the beauty of our own backyard.”
Dig Paddlesports will be honored at the HVCC luncheon to be held at the Sky Mountain Golf Course on Thursday, Oct. 17th at 11:00 am. Guest speaker is Bob Watkins, former FBI Special Agent, Missionary and Pro Golfer. Deadline to RSVP is October 10th.
