Kyle Myrick, Hurricane City Theatrical Co. Director, has been named one of 30 local professionals who will be honored at the 30 in Their Thirties event at the Dixie Convention Center on Nov. 4th. This event honors dynamic young professionals who are taking their business or organization in Southern Utah to new levels.
“We are thrilled to recognize these professionals who are climbing the corporate ladder, launching businesses, and leaving their mark on their industry,” said Don Willie, SGACC President and CEO. “While young in age, each recipient has achieved tremendous success and has shown commitment to their community.”
Theatre directors oversee many aspects of staging shows, from casting to costumes to performances. Kyle not only does that, but also designs and builds sets and lighting and also runs the sound and music for every single show! He surrounds himself with capable and talented people to help pull off amazing musical theatrical shows – and they do it every time!
Kyle also teaches Theatre and produces show with the youth in the Washington County School District. He is a very busy man, but seems to manage it all with ease.
Congratulations to Kyle! This is a well-deserved honor and it is Hurricane’s good fortune to have him as Director of the Hurricane Theatrical Co. and part of the Hurricane City Recreation Department.
