Donna MacBean Honored at Hurricane Valley Chamber Luncheon

Donna MacBean of Santa Clara, Utah, was honored as a dedicated and tireless southern Utah citizen and volunteer at the recently held Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce luncheon meeting.

Donna was nominated and voted a member of the HVCC Board of Directors for 2021 – 2023.  She is a firecracker of energy, never missing an opportunity to serve on HVCC committees or at sponsored events.

Donna is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Neighborhood Connection, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing weekend meals for school aged children in need.  She supports and volunteers for the Dixie Ladies of Elks Lodge, Dixie Sunrise Rotary Club, St. George Area Chamber of Commerce, the Love Like Joe Foundation, the SGACC Sunshiner’s group and the Utah Food Bank.  She participates in fund raising efforts for the Dove Center, BACA, Big Brothers and Big Sisters Clubs, and Southern Utah Girls on the Run, just to name a few.

Donna has owned and operated many successful businesses and is a dedicated humanitarian. She is the recipient of the Distinguished Citizens Award for Outstanding and Meritorious Service to Humanity and the recent recipient of the St. George Area Chamber Elements Award which honors women who are the area movers and shakers, working to change the world.

Donna doesn’t walk when she can run and she never waivers when she recognizes a need.

The Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to honor her with their Random Recognition Award for her willingness to serve the people and organizations in Hurricane Valley and southern Utah.


Kathy Tolleson Honored by Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce

Kathy Tolleson, District Manager of AGC of Utah, was honored by the Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce as an outstanding member of the Hurricane Valley and Southern Utah communities at the recently held State of the City luncheon meeting held at Sand Hollow Resort in Hurricane, Utah.

As District Manager of AGC of Utah, Kathy excels as an ambassador for the company, supporting an astonishing number of Southern Utah events and organizations and all of the Hurricane Valley Chamber events and activities.  Blessed with an abundance of energy and a remarkable memory, she remembers faces and names and is always willing to help whenever or wherever needed.  Kathy is a capable, energetic advocate for AGC and has been instrumental in organizing educational classes and seminars for area builders and contractors.
