Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce Awards & Installation Banquet

The Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Community Awards & Installation Banquet on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020.

The night will feature guest speaker Rand H. Packer, author of “A Lion and a Lamb”, the book developed into the movie “The Fighting Preacher”.

Hurricane Valley businesses and business people will be honored for their exceptional contribution to the community and HVCC Board Members will be installed.

A plated prime rib meal will be served.

Dig Paddlesports Awarded Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce October Business of the Month

Congratulations to Dig Paddlesports on being awarded the HVCC October Business of the Month.

Dig Paddlesports is the exclusive provider of watersports equipment at Hurricane’s Quail Creek State Park with another location at Gunlock State Park.

Owner, Bill Ennis and Operations Manager, Michelle Ennis established their business in 2011, with the desire and intent of encouraging water sports and recreational activities amongst the red rock landscapes of Southern Utah. They offer rentals, lessons (including Paddle Board Yoga), sales and repairs for stand-up paddle boards, kayaks and other water sports equipment and are able to accommodate family reunions, corporate events, and other large groups.

Along with the demands of their growing business, Bill and Michelle support a number of non-profit organizations and are actively engaged in organizing and assisting with community events.

Meet the Hurricane City Council Candidates

The Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a “Meet the Hurricane City Council Candidates Night” on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 beginning at 6:30 pm at the Hurricane High School, located at 345 Tiger Blvd., Hurricane, Utah.

Questions for the candidates must be emailed prior to the event or written down and submitted before the meeting begins.
