Lonny Boy’s BBQ in Hurricane, Utah Honored as HVCC May 2019 Business of the Month

For the second time, Lonny Boy’s BBQ in Hurricane, Utah has been voted by HVCC members to be honored as the Business of the Month. This recognition is awarded to HVCC Business members who have contributed extensive time, energy and resources to the Hurricane Valley area and Southern Utah region.

The Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce strives to recognize and honor those businesses who truly make a difference in Hurricane Valley.  Lonny Boy’s BBQ and their amazing staff have consistently served delicious barbeque to Southern Utah residents and the many tourists who visit Hurricane Valley.  Recently awarded 2019 BEST OF STATE TEXAS BARBEQUE, they have donated and/or provided countless meals at numerous Southern Utah events such as the Huntsman World Senior Games, Washington County Fair and Hurricane Peach Days to name a few.

A strong supporter and past president of the Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce, owner Lon Allen has donated delicious meals at the annual HVCC Charity Golf Tournament for many years.  Lon and Jean Allen are actively involved in the community and Hurricane Valley.  Lon currently serves on the Hurricane Valley Tourism Coucil and is an active supporter of the Hurricane Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Lonny Boy’s BBQ is located at 980 West State Street in Hurricane, Utah.  They will be honored at the upcoming HVCC luncheon meeting on Thursday, May 16th at the Hurricane Community Center, 63 S. 100 W.  Networking begins at 11:30 am with lunch, announcements and speaker at 11:45 am.  Guest speaker this month is Lura Kingsford, founder of Appreciation Mindset Training, a program designed to make supervisors’ jobs easier.
