President Jeff Harding -- Huntsman World Senior Games Jeff Harding is Director of Operation for the Huntsman World Senior Games.
As such he is responsible for most non-competition aspects of the Games, i.e.;
volunteers, sport socials, the gift shop, information, transportation and vendors, etc.
Prior to working for the Games, Harding spent over three years working
in marketing for the St. George Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
His responsibilities there included promoting sports and events,
guides and outfitters and films in Washington County.
A native of Northern Utah, Harding has been a marketing manager for Weber County recreational facilities
and the Ogden Eccles Conference Center/Peerys Egyptian Theater. He also spent 10 years working in the
Public Affairs Office of the Internal Revenue Service in Ogden and Salt Lake City. He is currently serving on
the board of directors for the Hurricane Valley Chamber.
Past President Eric Heideman -- Hinton Burdick CPA's Advisors
Eric Heideman is a licensed CPA and manages the Hurricane office for HintonBurdick
CPAs & Advisors. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a
Masters Degree in Accounting with an emphasis in taxation. Although he grew up in
Washington County, he spent a couple of years working in California for a global
accounting firm called Grant Thornton, LLP before moving back to the
Southern Utah area.
Treasurer Christian Acosta -- SunFirst Bank
Board Members Gene Galia -- Just Insure Me Gene Gallia moved to Washington County in January 2007 with the idea of opening a business and settling permanently in Southern Utah. Gene
was born in Texas and has lived in 7 states and 7 major metropolitan cities
since leaving high school.
Gene discovered Utah in 2005 when the company he worked for asked him to open an auto
dealership in Salt Lake City. Gene moved to Draper and began to explore Utah and
southern Utah. A work related move to Washington DC area in 2006 took him out of state,
but when he decided to change his career direction he found himself drawn
back to Utah and the friendly people here.
In June 2007 Gene opened an insurance agency at 2600 west here in Hurricane. Gene’s agency
provides personal and family insurance products, business insurance, Life and retirement products for
clients all over Washington County. Gene lives in Sky Ridge and has been active in various Hurricane
valley community and chamber events ongoing. Gene’s favorite activity is hiking the trails in southern Utah.
Trevor Jenson -- Holiday Express
Jim Breitweg -- Stor-N-Lock
Eileen and Jim moved to Hurricane in May of 2008. Together, they manage the Stor-N-Lock Self Storage
facility on the west side of town. They also live on site. Their business was voted the "Business of the Year"
for 2008, and they also won a beautification award from the City of Hurricane in the same year.
Jim and Eileen enjoy Hurricane and Southern Utah. The area is great for year round golf and tennis, and
living next to a national park like Zion is a great bonus. Their children and grandchildren love to visit there
is so much to do and see. It is perfect for their 8 very active grandchildren.
Jim is looking forward to serving the community, and what better way then through the Hurricane Chamber of Commerce.
Becky Marchal - Questar Gas Company Becky is a preconstruction specialist for Questar Gas Company. She has been employed by QGC for
twenty-one years. Becky has been an active member of the HVCC for 13 years, also serving as a Twister
at various chamber activities. She graduated from Ten Sleep High School (Wyoming) then Ricks College
and Brigham Young University, respectively.
